Moogz & The Fae is a collaboration of two artists/actors/friends who share a passion for voice over and for whimsy.

Megan Linde (Moogz) - Born in Zimbabwe, teenaged in Baltimore, and currently adulting in Brooklyn. Megan’s path in theater and voice over was full of people telling her to put on an American accent for years until the Zimbabwean one began to disappear, at which point no one wanted to hear the American accent from her anymore. She looks forward to using her own voice, along with voices of her own choosing, on this project for better or worse, other people’s requests be damned.

Will Carson Jr. (The Fae) - Borne and bred in Baltimore County and, now, living contently and fancifully in Astoria with his partner, Will has always had a fascination with the power of the human voice and all of it’s complexities and eccentricities. Though his dreams of becoming an actor on Broadway have not fully manifested as he had hoped, he is more than grateful and elated to be stretching his creative muscles again with a dear friend and is excited for the journey ahead. What comes next, only time will tell.

Our Origin Story

Megan and Will met and became friends at the theater program of their high school, Carver Center for Arts and Technology. You should have seen their performances in Les Mis as Madame Thenardier and Javert respectively back in the day… They parted ways for college, with Will studying Theater at Towson University, and Megan at NYU - Tisch. Reunited a few years later, and living in a small, cheap, splendid Brooklyn apartment together, Megan began the process of dabbling in voice over, bringing Will along for the ride. After trying out a few improv-y little numbers in front of the mic, they found a copy of Shel Silverstein’s Falling Up on the sidewalk one day, and with a shared penchant for all things whimsical, started recording a few of the poems for funsies. Today, they live separately with proper jobs, apartments with closets, and significant others, so taking on recording the entirety of Silverstein’s lovely book of poems is a passion project to feed a wonderful friendship in the spirit of creativity, collaboration, and more funsies.
